    Just released Jersey for FSX

Post by Soarfly on Fri Jan 20, 2017 5:01 pm

I have released Jersey (EGJJ) for FS2004 in the past but it was honestly terrible, I have just completed work on a much better version that rivals UK2000, plus I released it for free!
Check out these shots and let me know what you think..

looks a reasonable rendition, well done.
I believe Tony Meredith is also getting closer to releasing his jersey as well
Mike (G-gmdh) has recently created a very passable autogen for the island and between us we have scanned the whole island in photoscenery at 15cms to the pixel but been using the uk2000 airport scenery however I lack the patience to do the water masking so have used the real sea scans until a mile offshore

Where do you get you imagery from? I can only use the Bing imagery from FSET

    G-Gmdh prefers Bing
I prefer to use GE its swings and roundabouts but I find that you can get very low using GE whereas Bing stops at a greeater height but it varies from region to region
