    British Columbia Ferries

Post by jaydor on Tue Jul 19, 2016 6:12 pm

I have been creating a ORBX only HDD of North America and Canada predominantly the PNW for my love of seaplane flying.  I have added FSX World of Ai shipping and also found a download for British Columbia Ferries by Larry Robertson.  So all shipping on my FSX is now fully detialed ships of real life, not the orrid MS ones.

These shots show you the departure of a BC ferry from Nanaimo on Vancouver Island.

The first shot shows the ferry in it's proper Larry_R built dock, center of shot above aircraft between the folded mast of the docked yacht:

The second is the ferry departing the dock:

Next is the departed ferry enroute:

Here is an overhead showing the Docks area of Nanaimo and the wake of the ferry enroute.  Nanaimo is a freeware from ORBX and was built by Larry_R.  You can now see the ferry dock better from this shot:

    Ai world of shipping ferry:

Will show more as I progress around the PNW..

Thank you Mike.  This is the standard of Larry's work.  He builds not only the ships but also all the ferry terminals:
