ALWAYS SOMETHING NEW TO LEARN FROM FORUM MEMBERS

Post by G-GMDH on Mon Jun 27, 2016 9:05 pm

Whilst in a Skype conversation with forum members this evening the subject got onto scenery and in particular the UK 2000 airfields and airports. In the past I have tried to delete the ground bgl file for each of the airports to allow the photo real scenery to show through, luckily I have only completed one or two in the 100's that are in Vol 1, 2 and 3.

It was suggested that the photo real scenery in the FSX scenery manager be placed in the list above the UK 2000 Vol 1, 2 and 3 so that the home made scenery would take priority over the UK 2000 ground images.

Like MAGIC it works and saves a load of burning the mid-night oil and drinking gallons of tea.

Some pictures to show the differences.......................

So a BIG THANK YOU to Nigel and Dai.

    Cheers, Mike.
