Here are 3 very amateur videos which give some indication of what can be created in quite a short time using FSET
please make sure they are playing in 1080p

Not too bad for an amateur Nigel Laughing but seriously they are good and just show with a little effort and time what can be produced in your own living room with freely available software.

    Cheers, M cheers

HI DB the definition on you tube is 1024hd as for m/pix it is LOD13 but i zoomed in for a better clarity, you should see it on my p.c. at full definition it is pretty cool

What is LOD13 compared to m/pixel?

Most commercial photoscenery is described as m/pixel

    And Mesh in LOD

Our homemade scenery is made in 1M/Pix resolution however for some of the airport areas and in fact ALL of Malta I did it in 0.5M/Pix resolution.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers, Mike.

No sadly I spent a lot of time searching web sites and forums which led me completely up the river without a paddle!!!!

However FSET is easy to use and in the case of ONLY land, no sea, you can leave it on over night and in the morning you can be flying over good quality photo real scenery.

The only work involved is when you get near the coastlines and you have to spend time editing the images or generating water masks.

    Cheers, M

I have found tutorials editing coastlines. Its a lot of work as far as I can see. I would like to make Denmark photoscenery, but the problem is that even though its one of the smallest european countries, it has one of the longest coast line because its an archipelago and with lots of deep fjords etc.
