HOMEMADE TRIM WHEEL THE EASY WAY

Post by G-GMDH on Wed Sep 23, 2015 1:17 pm

Build yourself a TRIM WHEEL using an old PC mouse in conjunction with Peter Dowson's software FSUIPC.

Its been working perfectly OK for over 6 months now and cost nothing as all the parts I found in my junk box!!!!

    Cheers, M.

    Olé. Thats very nice.

Now I have to find a mouse and figure out how to connect the wheel shaft to the mouse.

Fixing the trim wheel is very easy. I made the wheel from the base of an old CD/DVD plastic container then glued a wood screw to this. You then drill a small hole in the side of the mouse and connect the screw with the mouse wheel inside.

It is important to use only the type of computer mouse that has the little wheel on top.

    Hope this helps............................M
