Yes the title is correct 28, 000 square miles of scenery all done in one drop and it took 45 hours of continuous downloading to include three power outages.

Below is the FSET set up and using the CNTRL key board and mouse you can mark the squares that cover the water that you don't want to complete because they have white tiles in them. These you can download at a later time and edit in any art package and then re-sample to bgl files.

Here are some sample of the scenery over Venice and flying to LIDA in Northern Italy.

360 tiles i Can see. How many gigas was the work folder after that?

I mostly work the other way round. I make the parts with watermasks first and then I do the parts without masks. But as you are in Italy, I´m sure you know that all roads lead to Rome.

Hi DB and Nigel, the completed scenery is ONLY 83 GBs and looks very good with colours and contrasts and fits with the Aosta area which I already have.

I didn't bother with the proper water masks and the few tiles that had white in them just painted the sea areas and then compiled them. I'm happy with the results.

So a little rest from downloading for the next few days.
    cheers

Aosta on the left and my home brew scenery on the right. I prefer my scenery as it has better colour and contrasts?

PS I have FSET scenery tourettes as I have just started another 23, 000 square miles download going further North.

Use the CONTROL button on your keyboard with the mouse pointer to select the boxes. If you use the SHIFT button and mouse pointer it will highlight them all.
