    Sketchup into FSX? Simples!

Just a quick note that you can import Sketchup 3-D models in Collada format (xxx.dae) into the development version of ModelConverterX, and then position them as scenery objects in FSX/FSW and, I guess X-Plane (can't check this).

Here's a pic of my new VW 'Splittie' campervans:

    More info if you want...

I wish i had the time and more importantly the patience to create scenery the "proper" way but being a lazy bugger I will leave it up to those that can do it with their eyes shut, and admire their work from afar nice vans m8

Boss - not my 3-D work in Sketchup (I wish!). Simply downloaded the Collada model from 3DWarehouse.sketchup.com and eased it through ModelConverterX into FSX.
